Every October, Palm Springs opens its doors — the butterfly roofs, the breeze-block screens, the glass walls framing the San Jacintos. Morning
Start at King’s Highway, our roadside diner in what was once a Denny’s inside the 1966 Westward Ho. Strong coffee, a proper breakfast and a booth to map out the day’s home tours.
Midday
Home tours, walking tours, films and talks across the valley. East Palm Canyon puts you within easy reach of the festival — and the pool is waiting when you get back.
Afternoon
Two deep pools at the Swim Club, a lounger in the February sun, and a treatment at the Feel Good Spa to reset tour-tired legs.
Evening
A cocktail at Hideaway, a seat by the community fire pits and the stargazing deck once the desert goes dark. Trade notes on the day’s best house — everyone has a favorite.
